Hi!
My name is Brooke Bowles. I am graduating from Auburn University from their College of Nursing in August. My nursing school experience has grown my knowledge and clinical education more than I thought it could. With many projects behind me, I'd like to showcase a few and share more about my future nursing career.
All About Me
I grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee with my family, surrounded by healthcare workers. I suppose this played a factor in rooting my interest in nursing at a young age. Surprisingly, and fortunately, that never changed. When it came time to choose a college, Auburn was the only option for me (if you can't tell by now, I am a fairly decisive person).
Looking back, I'd choose Auburn all over again. I learned numerous things about myself and finally gained that independence I craved since I was 14 years old. Once I began nursing school, I was more challenged academically more than I ever had been. I took my determination and discipline and turned that into passing each exam. There were long nights and rough reality checks, but after nursing school, I see how accomplished, intelligent, and resilient we are; I believe these qualities will make us great nurses.
